Rockland Boulders Game
This year Rockland Road Runners will be joining forces with the Rockland County Sports Hall of Fame for a Rockland Boulders vs. New Jersey Jackals baseball game on Thursday, July 14, at beautiful Provident Bank Park in Pomona. The event provides an opportunity to enjoy an exciting minor-league ballgame in the company of other friends and colleagues in the Rockland sports community. It also serves as a fund-raiser for Dr. Mike Rogan, a Rockland Track Hall of Fame inductee and former Clarkstown North and Notre Dame track star who suffered a traumatic brain injury from a fall in July 2013.
We will be sitting in the Sunset Deck area, a great location to take in the game. Game time is 7:00 p.m. but gates open at 6:00 p.m. and food will be replenished from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. For your $35 ticket purchase, you’ll receive a menu of all-beef hot dogs, grilled hamburgers, grilled teriyaki chicken, pasta salad, soda and bottled water, plus unlimited popcorn, peanuts and chips & salsa. Beer will be available for purchase at a nearby stand, and a bar is located in the left field area. There will be a spectacular fireworks display immediately following the firstname.lastname@example.org for tickets or further information. Or you can visit the Boulders website, www.rocklandboulders.com
