DIRECTIONS:
Southbound NYS Thruway to Exit 12/Rt 303N to Congers. Right at light at Lake Road. At next light, continue across Rt. 9W into Rockland Lake State Park. Inside park, take immediate left to Parking Field #1. From NYC G.W. Bridge to Palisades Parkway north to Exit 9 NYS Thruway south to Exit 12. Follow preceding directions. From NYC/Westchester/Conn. TZ Bridge/NYS Thruway north to Exit 11/9W north, make left turn. Rockland Lake State Park is on 9W, 2½ miles past Nyack Hospital. Right at second entrance. Inside park, turn left to parking Field #1.

You will be asked to select from a list of parks, the one you want is listed as Rockland Lake State Park, Lake Road, Clarkstown--Town of, NY. You must go through this one extra step, it doesn't work if you try to type this in as the destination address. It's well worth it as the directions are terrific and they will also estimate how long your drive will be.
