The club picnic has been revived after a layoff of a few years. The picnic will take place Sunday, Aug. 26, from noon to 5 p.m., at Congers Lake Park off Gilchrest Road in Congers. The cost is $10 per person and you must pay in advance, but the $10 will be refunded to you at the picnic. We will have standard picnic fare of burgers, hot dogs and beverages provided by the club. Everyone is invited to bring some salads, desserts, etc. to share with all. There will have a children’s race and the softball field will be available to us from 1 to 3 p.m.
