As many of you know, the Nyack Beach State Park shoreline path suffered severe damage from Hurricane Sandy. The path has been closed due to the extensive damage. Rockland Lake management is holding a Volunteer Service day to help remediate the Nyack Beach path on Tuesday, Nov. 27, from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. We hope club members will be able to volunteer. If you are interested, please complete the attached form and bring it, along with some work gloves, to Nyack Beach that day (come for an hour, two hours, whatever). Parking will be up near the entrance toll booth since the parking lot pavement is in disrepair.

Any questions can be sent to Jamie Kempton

Thanks for your support!

hello I wanted to know if there are any other available dates to help volunteer to clean up Nyack beach. Is it possible to so up weekly for a few hours to help out.

Is this the only date to help? Also, the weather is not supposed to be ideal; so is the cleanup going to take place tomorrow?
