The annual Masters Challenge 5K will be held Wednesday, July 24, 7 p.m., at beautiful Rockefeller State Park Preserve in Sleepy Hollow, just across the Tappan Zee Bridge in Westchester. This race pits RRR versus the host Westchester Track Club and the Taconic Road Runners, for runners age 40 and older. There are male and female scoring categories for 40+, 50+ and 60+ divisions. Food and beverage donations are welcome for the post-race celebration in the park. Two years ago RRR hosted at Rockland Lake, and last year Taconic hosted at F.D. Roosevelt State Park in Yorktown Heights. Now it’s Westchester’s turn to host. All you masters runners, here’s our chance to win bragging rights from our neighboring clubs “across the pond” in Westchester. Let’s have a strong show of support at this race!
