1,576 Steps to the Top of NYC

More than 400 athletes from around the world charged to the top of New York’s most iconic building at the 37th Empire State Building Run-Up. The event gave these runners a gut-busting, lung-searing workout on a day when yet another snowfall blanketed NYC and thwarted the routines of many a runner.

We had four Team RRR members registered but only one that made it to through the snow and ice to run to the top of the Empire State Building. The one and only, Bruce Yang.

With a time of 15:11, he beat his time from last year by over 30 seconds.

This time I was not sick like last year so I was expecting to do better. But only a little bit better.
Here is the report card to myself:

Preparation: B
Physical Fitness: B+
Mental Strength: C

Bruce ran with Team For Kids but was in the books scoring for RRR!
