This year Rockland Road Runners will be joining forces with the Rockland County Sports Hall of Fame for a Rockland Boulders vs. New Jersey Jackals baseball game as we celebrate the third annual Rockland County Sports Hall of Fame Night on Thursday, July 31, at beautiful Provident Bank Park in Pomona. The event provides an opportunity to enjoy an exciting minor-league ballgame in the company of other friends and colleagues in the Rockland sports community. It also serves as a fund-raiser for Dr. Mike Rogan, a Rockland Track Hall of Fame inductee and former Clarkstown North and Notre Dame track star who suffered a traumatic brain injury from a fall in July 2013.

We will be sitting in the Short Porch area in right field, a great location to take in the game. Game time is 7:00 p.m. but gates open at 6:00 p.m. and food will be replenished from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. For your $35 ticket purchase, you’ll receive a menu of all-beef hot dogs, grilled hamburgers, grilled teriyaki chicken, pasta salad, soda and bottled water, plus unlimited popcorn, peanuts and chips & salsa. Beer will be available for purchase at a nearby stand, and a bar is located in the left field area. There will be a pre-game on-field presentation recognizing the Rockland County Sports Hall of Fame, and a spectacular fireworks display immediately following the game.
