The annual Masters Challenge 5K will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 7 p.m., at Rockland Lake State Park. This race pits RRR versus the Westchester Track Club and the Taconic Road Runners, for runners age 40 and older. There are male and female scoring categories for 40+, 50+ and 60+ divisions. Food and beverage donations are welcome for the post-race celebration in the park. Last year Westchester hosted at Rockefeller State Park Preserve and two years ago Taconic hosted at F.D. Roosevelt State Park in Yorktown Heights. This year we bring it home for home court advantage!

All you masters runners, here’s our chance to win bragging rights from our neighboring clubs “across the pond” in Westchester. Let’s have a strong show of support at this race!

Distance: 5K (3.1 miles)
Location: Rockland Lake (North Pavilion)
Date: Wednesday, July 23
Time: 7:00 PM

There is no online registration for this event, you’ll sign up when you arrive at the race!

Is it too late for North Jersey Masters to participate in this event? We still talk about the last Interclub Challenge, and how well you can stage the event at Rockland Lake.

      Hey Kevin,

I’ve heard no objections from anyone so let’s get North Jersey Masters involved! Shoot me an email at president@rocklandroadrunners.org and we’ll make sure we’re all on the same page!
