Even though our Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot is not on Halloween, many participants dress in costume. Undeniably, the majority of participants in costume dress as a turkey. However, a turkey outfit is not the only festive running attire that we’ve seen. We’ve had runners, walkers and spectators dress up as chefs, pilgrims, Batman, clowns, and more!

Whoever or whatever you are for Halloween, we invite you to be it again at our event! If you don’t have an elaborate costume, dress like a runner or just come as yourself! There is no dress code for the Turkey Trot. Although, we highly recommend that you wear something to avoid freezing and becoming the infamous first Icicle of the Turkey Trot.

The 23rd Annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot will take place on Thursday November 27, 2014 at 8:30 AM at Rockland Lake State Park.

There is no race day registration this year!
