Past RRR President JC Santa Teresa is back at it again! While continuing to run and raise funds for the Susan G Komen foundation, JC managed to set a Guinness World Record! JC is now officially the holder of Most Consecutive Days Running an Ultra Marathon with an impressive 21 consecutive days running more than 26.2 miles at a clip. Another great accomplishment for such a dedicated and ambitious runner!
His daughter, Kara Santa Teresa, added:
“After 21 consecutive days, 50km(~31miles) per day making a total of 1050km(~652.5miles), as well as missing the holidays with the family, and losing 8 pounds, he did it! He is now a Guinness World Title holder! You are a true inspiration and I hope to be as dedicated, motivated, hard-working, and committed to running as you are some day. Major congratulations to you and I could not be more proud of you! My dad, most consecutive days running ultra marathons, never give up.”
