The Bill Fortune Memorial 10K Run and 5K Run/Walk was a huge success this past Saturday. Thank you to all participants and volunteers!
Now we are on to our next race! Ladies, this is your race, registration is now open for the 28th Annual Women’s Distance Festival 5K Run/Walk which, as always, benefits The Center for Safety & Change. Be sure to pre-register online at the discounted rates. Online registration closes July 6th and we can only guarantee race shirts (I haven’t seen them, but the Directors have!) to those who pre-register!
When: Saturday July 11 at 8:00 am
Where: Rockland Lake State Park, Congers, NY
Why: For 28 years, the Women’s Distance Festival 5K has been the only women’s running or walking event in Rockland County. Ladies this is YOUR race! All proceeds will benefit The Center for Safety & Change.

This year Rockland Road Runners are hosting an after party with our race sponsors at Growler and Gill Craft Beer Shoppe!
All Race Participants and Volunteers will receive drink specials and all Road Runners and friends are invited to celebrate what is expected to be a huge race! The party will start at 11:00am!
